These short sessions are an extremely effective training strategy, alternating between short bursts of intensive anaerobic exercise, teamed with short, less intensive recovery.
There are no universal rules with HIIT, although ours typically last under 30 minutes. Due to the intensity of these popular sessions, we recommend you do not try more than 3 intensive sessions per week.
